Below are two papers I wrote surrounding topics of environmental justice. These reports were constructed for a University of Michigan course I completed the summer of 2018 titled "Environmental Justice: Capitalism, Resistance, and Just Sustainabilities". An incredibly informative and insightful class, I not only gained foundational knowledge in environmental justice discourse but furthered my own involvement through research and reporting. I hope you find these accounts as evidence of the ongoing disparities and injustices faced by communities due to the threats of power, social and political systems, and climate change (exacerbated by humans). I am continuing my education on these issues and hope to post more resources and content soon.
